Usually, I keep my bass, treble and cut right at 12:00 and may add a little more lows for the room, or highs when I play my humbucker guitar, but mostly right up the middle. My volume usually runs around 10 or 10:30, which can get pretty "hairy" when you really hit the strings - and I love it there and have had it there since I got it last year.
I played, a pretty "country" show, this past Saturday and didn't realize I had turned down the volume to around 9:00 or 9:30 (must have bumped it at some point), but all night I kept thinking "wow, this thing is exceptionally "twangy" and chimey tonight, and I LOVE it! I had more punch on my cleans and a nice "pop" to my strings that I usually don't have.
On our last break, I was talking to the sound man about the Z-Wreck..... He wanted to look at it. That's when I realized that I had the volume down lower than I normally run it. The sound man said "don't touch it", and I agreed!
I've never had an amp that could clean up that much and still sound THAT good when you turn down the volume, just a little. Just wanted to pass this info along.

The wreck can be a twang and jangle machine if it's set right. Such a great amp!

Couldn't agree more…..the Wreck sounds great at low and high settings on the V dial!
