Lefty thanks! Those are amazing clips- both playing-wise and for the tone- it sounds great. Now i really want one! Take some karma. Where did you find them? I've never heard brad paisley use reverb before that i know of- what's the deal and which reverb pedal is he using? Thanks again Nick

Doc sent them to me to post. There will be more. As for the verb, couldn't tell you. Maybe BP will chime in and explain.

Anyone got some 'bucker clips yet? Man this thing has really dimed my radar. I bet it with my Z28 and an AB box would KILL!

In my experiance with the Doc's EF-86 front end amps (Route 66 and Z/28) that I have/have had...they love a hot signal, I'd expect the same here. I have a Maz Sr on the way but it was HARD not to just wait on the Stingray !! These are gonna be hard to come by for a while I'm afraid...the 'ol supply and demand american way. Great for Mike Z though...That might be all he's builds for a while...that little shop is gonna be BUSY from now on.

And for the larger venues, can you imagine both of them cranking away at the same time?!?!?!?!?! Those samples are amazing. And I was very close to pulling the trigger on one of the new Vox AC30's.....

Man, I nearly wet my pants the first time I heard the sound byte/clip etc.....with guitar straight into the "Stingray". The thing has that much chime and resonance I thought it had some delay/verb on it. I think this thing with its ef86 front end is going to absolutely kill it with a good quility pedal like a fat boost or rc booster.
I think this amp just might be the good Dr'Z crowning glory.\
Hats off to you Doc' , I dream of ordering a custom "Stingray" combo in purple tolex with a chrome faceplate, red knobs and a basketweave grill like a blonde earrly 60's AC30. A bit of a hybrid but hey why not go something original if ordering custom made?

I love the tone Brad gets with the Stingray. Can a Mazerati get similar tones? I'd love to get a Stingray, but my budget is more in line with the Mazerati.
I do have a Ghia for comparison. Does the Mazerati get closer to the Vox chime than the Ghia, which by the way, does not sound like a Vox to me?

Anyone figure how where the 'verb in the 2nd clip came from yet?
Standing in line for a new 'ray ...

Thanks, aruntang. I thought it might be a Holy Grail, since that pedal is mentioned on the Z site.
