Mine seems to have a bad ground...when I first got the amp it as my only one and I couldn't test to see where the problem was, guitar, amp or speaker....well the speaker had a problem and I figured the guitar was the ground problem but on getting a couple other amps and another guitar. See that the ground issue seems to be in the amp.
If I take my fingers off the strings the amp buzzes and if I touch it stops...loud, annoying buzz....I can still play it but it does effect the overall sound.....I can't wait till I get it fixed as I've never heard the Therapy in correct working order since both the speaker and the amp have had problems since I got them.....used of course. Still I've loved the Therapy...just wait till it's all better and working without a hitch.
I wish I was closer to the Z family so I could let them fix it but I think I'll try a local fella and hope it won't take to long...anyone else have anything like this happen with one of there amps ever?...

My experience with grounding has (almost) always been something other than the amp. I am sure you have tried everything like cables, pickup selection, guitar stuff, cell phones too close to the amp, dimmer switches nearby, etc. etc. Any decent tech will be able to confirm a good ground on that amp, I think.
When I have had a bad ground in an amp, pedal, guitar, it is SUPER noticeable. Not something that cleans up when you touch the strings. More like a "what the!?" sort of problem.
Let us know what you find out, ok? Eddie

No issues like that on any Therapy that I am aware of.
Please let us know the resolution.

It's not the Therapy... For some reason I just hadn't noticed it on the other amps...it more noticeable when the drive is coming on....more gain more noticeable. Makes me wonder if my house has poor ground. Sounds like when a guitar has a poor ground and taking your finger off the strings makes it buzz some and touching them makes it quiet ONLY it's happening with any guitar plugged in...and Both the Monza And Therapy. o well....I should look into that.

House Dimmer switches will play havoc with noise in your amps. I know right away if the lights are on in a certain room upstairs in my house by the buzz in my amp ;-)

Certain appliances can do this to your amp too. I played a gig once in a joint that had an old refrigerator that drove my amp crazy every time the compressor came on.

Man my 1 regular gig, they have this cool old lighted arrows sign that blinks...my amp "ticks" every time those lights go on/off. First time I heard it I thought it was my pedalboard because eliminating that made it almost completely go away...next time in I figured it out. Now I just learn to ignore it...ya don't notice it once we start playing anyway

Yes that does lead to erroneous amp boogers...even neighbors running something can cause dirty electricity to be culprit.

I wouldn't call this trouble,just an oddity-playing for awhile this afternoon,master at 3 o'clock,volume at 2'o clock.turned it up from clean about 5 minutes earlier,amps been running for about 40 minutes at that point.All of a sudden,silence,nothing.Shut down,check tubes,nothing looks odd.turn back on,with volume down,everythings ok.increase volume,play for another 20 minutes,no issues.No weird looking tubes,everything acting normal. Any ideas?Worry?or it's nothing to write home about?tube thinking about going bad?

Two quick things come to mind since it's an intermittent - Phase Inverter tube might be going , and check your speaker connections.

I also wondered if the amp shut down or if it just went silent but stayed on....but it made me think speaker cable because tubes usually make a sound that says," I dying now".
