I always knew it could, but this past week I got a "real" hard rock guitar (a Peavey Wolfgang).... Probably my favorite feeling and playing guitars ever made, just don't like the sound of them. If they twanged like a Telecaster, I'd be 100% converted. We played an outdoor show and I really got to crank the Wreck and pushed it with a Wampler Pinnacle Drive.....It was mostly country and some classic rock, but we also did some Van Halen, Metallica, and some 80s stuff (Poison, Motley Crue). I thought the Wolfgang and my Mesa were a match in heaven, but the Wreck and a pedal can rock just as hard as any Mesa and sound as good doing so..... or better! Wish I had clips. The best part, when switching from Tele to Wolfgang, I just turn up the treble from just below noon to about 2:00 or 2:30, nothing else to do. When I play the Mesa and switch back and forth, I have 3 channels to adjust and an EQ (which is actually easier than it sounds).

How about some audio clips? Please??? I planned on doing some yesterday, my day off, but my Honey-Do list was too big I'll try to get something recorded in the next week or two.....If nothing else, I'll try to get a recording at a show in the next month or so.

Nice! I loved the Wreck no matter what style I was playing. What mic are using? E609 or 906?
