Myself and another forum member traded amps just to try out- I gave him my EZG, and I am using his JAZ. The JAZ definitely has a more "American" EQ, more mid scoop. It has much more headroom than I thought it would have, even on 20 watt setting. It really has a great traditional fender sound. I don't know if it's because the EZG has a tube rectifier or bigger output transformer or what, but the EZG seems to have a much more percussive feel/attack. You can really feel the notes jump off the guitar with the EZG, not just because it has more bass. I think I prefer the EZG, but I know i Need both. Or maybe a Z LUXE

I just bought a Jaz a few days ago. I prefer it over the EZG that I had. It sounds warmer, more full to me and has a better feel to me. I couldnt bond with my EZG at all and I tried to hang on to it forever to like it but couldnt do it for some reason. so far Im really liking the Jaz

Here it is with my Strat and Maxon Analog Delay Wampler Ego Compressor for the Solo
20w Setting- Much More Headroom than I expected it to have, which is a good thing.
I'm starting to seriously warm up to this amp!
