I have received my Danocaster last Wednesday. I am completely blown away. It feels perfect in my hands, like a REAL old guitar. My CS Nocaster seems a fake in comparison. And it sounds absolutely killer. It's twangy and has a fat singing sustain at the same time. It's good for anything you want to play. And plugged into the ZWreck...UNBELIEVABLE. The guitar is absolutely amazing and the ZWreck one more time confirms to be one of the best amps ever built. For me personally the BEST ever built. Thanks to Lash LaRue here in the forum for having supported me and convinced me to go for a Danocaster. I could not be happier. I will sell my Fender CS Nocaster now: no use anymore.

Francesco- it looks wonderful. I am so glad that you are enjoying it. May it bring you decades of satisfaction. Aren't his finishes/relic'ing amazing? Whose pickups did he end-up using?

Hey Lash, yeah, Dan's finishes are amazing indeed. The guitar feels so unbelievably authentic. Dan put me Arcanes in the guitar: bridge a 51, neck a 65. The thing rocks, man! It rocks my Zwreck as if the amp had been designed to perfectly match this guitar. I hope you are still enjoying your wonderful Danos. I am going to sell my CS Nocaster now. Once its sold I will order a Strat from Dan ;-)

Congratulations! Oh and Thanks for a truck load of gas my friend I spent some time on the Danocaster web site this morning and would really like to check one of these out in person............ you are welcome, my friend. I am glad to share some true gassing with you ;-) Believe me: GAS this time can save money. Danocaster's prices are really honest and the guitars are the true heritage of Leo's genius. The price/quality relation is as appealing as Z amps: affordable for maximum quality, playability and tone experience. If you own a CS guitar you will sell it: and save money...

I just looked at his site, and would agree with the Dr Z comparison as far as priceing-fair,and reasonable for the customer, still allowing the maker/creator to live.I have no money right now for his guitars, but I will in the future. And the FAQ page is one of the best I have seen.

Spent some time friday on the phone talking with Dan. What nice guy, and really knowledgeable about certain tones! I could see my self ordering one of his guitars.

Spent some time friday on the phone talking with Dan. What nice guy, and really knowledgeable about certain tones! I could see my self ordering one of his guitars. I called Dan last Wednesday. I wanted to thank him for the great job he had done for me. You are so right. Dan is such a nice guy. It was like talking to a friend. Then I asked him questions on a Strat. I am looking for a killer Strat with rosewood neck but Fenders which sound great are by far too expensive IMHO. I recently played an 11K John Cruz...great guitar but 11K for a bolt on neck guitar is so crazy... Dan promised to build a real blues rock killer Strat...and I ordered!!! Now it's 4-5 months for me to wait for the next dream guitar. I think Dan is the real guy which understood Leo's genius and knows what it's all about. Everytime I play my Dano through my Zwreck...I just know: this is it!
