The trapeze looks like it may be fixed down to the body at both ends, which makes sense as otherwise there may not be enough break angle over the bridge. I'm not a fan of trapezes for this reason. Cool guitar though, for sure!

I have several guitars from Jon Hill/Bootleg. I also have or have had many Gibsons, Fenders, G&L's (which are some of the best guitars I've ever had) PRS's, and most recently Teye's and the Jon Hill guitars play noticeably better than any. Great, great guitars, but Jon has went from being a hard working "go-getter" to far less. He built me a "Les Paul Custom" clone back in 04 which is the best playing, best sounding, most beautiful guitar I have. This was before he had a CNC machine. He had the guitar completed in just over 3 months. Since he's had the CNC machine (and doesn't make near the amount of guitars he used to make) I ordered two teles from him. A year and a half later he hadn't started the guitar. We walked into faherenheit restaurant and he took a tele out of the display case and that is what I ended up with. Two years later, I foolishly ordered another tele from him, after being told it would take 4 weeks to complete. A year later and no guitar.....I had to file a complaint with the attorney general's office just to get my money back, which took about 3 months. So, point being, his guitars are among the best, but if you ever order from him be sure to get a delivery date in writing, and don't pay him in full. Good luck
