OK, I understand that the factory probably doesn't have the capacity to do the mods to existing JAZ amps. Notice I didn't call them upgrades since I would have to hear the differences before I decided I liked them better than the original design, which is currently my favorite amp. However, would it be possible to buy the various caps, etc. so I could substitute them myself? I know I could source them elsewhere but this would be easier. Also, any instructions from the service dept. would be good. Something similar to the Dr's approved mods for the MAZ chassis.
Just curious if this is something that might be an option (sans the cabinet). Love my Jaz but really like what I have read about the Zluxe.
No not at this time.
Seems the answer is right here...its not a NO... I think it will be a option to move it closer to the Z-lux without actually cloning it, which would make no sense. I have been earing both and they are close at least to my ears. I will find out soon enough as I am off on a road trip to NYC to pick up the one I just bought. Between my MAZ38NR, Therapy and the 20/40...I should be good for a while..

There are probably all kinds of liability Doc would be faced, with if something should go wrong. Also, I doubt it would be economically feasible to make kits for what is undoubtably a small number of of conversions. My suggestion would be to sell the JAZ and buy a used Zlux when they surface.
Jaguarguy (Mike): Hey Gary - Joe Walsh used a G12 65 in his Galaxie and it sounds great!

GuitarZ: So, I cranked up the privacy protection on my browsers, facebook, etc. I have to say I miss the music ads and such. I really don't need ads for watches and other random stuff. Maybe the internet knowing me isn't such a bad thing.

GuitarZ: Reminds me of buying my Honda. When they tried to sell me the maintenance package, I said "Is your car not reliable?" Long story short my wife teamed up with the sales lady to buy the maint package. Never again!
