Man I think this is a tough one for me...but my short list is
Ramblin' Jack Elliot - his version of Bob Dylan's Don't Think Twice is amazing Billie Holiday - She just has it all for me and I love to listen to her and wish I could of seen her live Muddy Waters - The man, myth and legend
Ozzy could barley speak but he sure could sing AND be understood. Great choice!

OK, since some of my fellow Z'ers named more than 1, I will follow suit. AFTER OZZY, I really like:
Ian Gillan Rhett Forrester (RIP) (Riot, a metal band out of NY--NOT Quiet Riot) Mark Farner
Maryanne Scandiffio (Blacklace--an early-to-mid '80s metal band out of NY) Kelly Johnson (RIP) (Girlschool--New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) Debbie Harry

+1 Eric Tom Jones is so powerful, I've always thought if anyone could do small venues without a PA it would be him.

Toss up between Alison Krauss and Shawn Colvin Speaking of Shawn, Keith.... I thought Taylor perfectly honored her in A-town at her concert..... Shawn's been plagued with plenty of "issues" so I thought it cool Taylor let her know how much we all love her....

That most recent Jaguares song is great.Great singer, and song.I'll be checking out more of their stuff. They are a solid rock bands with consistently good albums and songwriting. The drummer in both bands is Alfonso Andre. The rockest of the bunch with a lot of guitar are: Caifanes - El Nervio del Vulcan Jaguares - El Equilibrio de los Jaguares. Jaguares - Cuando la Sangre Galopa Jaguares - Crónicas de un Laberinto A great listen is Jagaures - El Primer Instinto It's an unplugged version of some Caifanes and Jaguares songs but the songs have been rearranged and sound fresh.
