I just picked up the unit. Sounds great! I owned a SS Echoplex in high school but could not maintain it.
One thing the Echoplex did that the Fulltone does not seem to do is get into infinite repeats when the repeat knob is maxed.
Though I would never use the unit that way live, it's fun at home or in the studio.
Is there a way to change the unit to "overdrive" the repeats on higher settings?

By turning up the record level I get very close to infinite repeat but no repeats that end up overdriving themselves. Certainly still love the unit though!

Cool deal. I just sold my Tube Tape Echo yesterday. Sounds like you like th Solid State one a lot.

Mines the Tube one. I think the SS one is just hitting stores this month. Almost wish I has waited to try both out because the SS one is the same price as the one I got used.......but as JJ Tubes says....."Tubes are good"
