I bought and sold my rx jr a few years ago. I was always looking for something better. Lo and behold, a jr. is back in the house. It's better than I remember!

Cool! Rock it in good health.
But be careful! It looks like it's gonna fall off the speaker cabinet! :-)
Best, Eddie

Congrats on getting an Rx Jr. back in your life. I picked one up a few months ago on a whim, and I really really dig it. Cool amp--enjoy!

use mine all the time, outdoors yesterday,, these things are ridiculously loud,,up against some other amps in a band i play with sometimes, it just cuts through and has a presence that just sorta takes over,, the other guy always is turnin up. have a greenback in mine, its like a clean marshall or something, mine is very trebly, i am sure thats cause i just have jj preamp tubes in it, i am sure it would sound even smoother with better tubes, but i just dial back the treb and up the mids,, huge bottoom end on this amp,,, i love mine too, i had one when they first came out and got this one recently,,

I would like to add that I'm kinda happy that this amp is not as popular as some of the other Z's. I feel it is a "best kept secret" type of amp, and as soon as others find out, I'll have a hard time snagging them! The more I play my jr, the more I'm amazed that its not more popular. Such a great sounding amp!

What kind of stand is that? I'm interested, as well, in knowing about that stand. Please share, if you will. TIA.

I have a red anniversary model head that I'm playing with the idea of selling or trading. what are the going price for the heads nowadays? It's hard to say. I've seen them go as low as $850-900 and as high as $1100. I guess it depends on the time of the year and the number of suitors at that particular time.

Wasn't it Steve who said, it's cheaper to keep her?

I don't disagree with that. But I'm in a tight spot right now and I haven't played this amp in over a year. I don't need anything with this amount of power. For my needs, a simple AC4 or 10 watt bedroom amp would suffice. I don't play gigs I just appreciate the tone. Not seriously considering it, but def considering it none the less. I'm sure it could be worth keeping around for historical purposes, but I don't see them bringing 50k in 30 years or anything.so I'm not scared to loose it. If all else fails I'll trade for a maz 8 I'd really like something with reverb.
