Someone asked how much gain this amp has. Well we have to find out, right? THIS is how much: Grosh Bent Top Custom (bridge bucker) > Mazerati GT > Airbrake (bedroom max) > Celestion Alnico Gold GT Settings: Tone: all the way to the left Volume: all the way to the right GTWideOpen.mp3Yeah, I put reverb on the end...

Way to go nuts on the end there. Cool clip. Can't wait to get my GT. Should be here in a few weeks. Have you had a chance to roll back the guitar volume yet to see how the amp cleans up, or are you still soaking in the high gain sounds? After reading the reviews, I'm curious about how it can clean up.

Thanks! Thing is, I have a lot of very cool amps here, and not one will do what the GT just did right there. Sold. It has earned a permanent place in my arsenal in just a couple hours of playing. That's what I was hoping for!

Way to go Steve, thanks for taking the time to post. Looks like the Maz gt has got loads of gain on tap. How many whats is it and what is the difference between that and the RX jr other than the RX jr having a master volume. The Doc sure love his El84 amps. How many models does that make and they all have there differences. Decisions, decisions, I thought he was called the Dr' for fixing our tone sick blues not creating G.A.S ;D

Thanks guys. I didn't really plan that feedback stuff - just discovered it as I played that clip. I'm imagining all kinds of cool things to do with it in the studio. First I have to figure out which guitar suits that kind of thing best. But with the gain backed down a bit, it's a great solo instrument - should work perfect in my two-head stage rig. Now I need a red cab though....

Holy Mother of God!! What a great sound. I thought your comparison clips from the other day were super... this takes the cake; better start saving. Hey I just thought...now Canadians get a 10% discount because of our high dollar; this should be easy.

This amp has the same tone stack as the Ghia - one tone knob is all you need. As far as difference with the RxJr, I expect the tone differences are the same as what my RXES comparison showed. Well, and the RxJr is 15 watts. HTH
