Us folks in the "502" are snowed in ( 16-20" what better time to put my New Therapy Thru its PACES. I have been so busy since getting my Therapy I haven't used it with all my guitars, main pedal board, different cabs etc... , I used a couple times with a GOLD 1x12 which is loaded in my BADCAT Combo, not too impressed a bit fizzy, however my Z 2x12 Scumbag J/Gold setup was KILLER Clean to mean!! I also tried a MOJO BV which is a V30 very impressed but hands down my favorite setup is my Boogie Theile Ported 1x12 with an Original EVM/L WOW!!! This lil amp kills the Big Airy Dumbly/Fendery Rock tones as well as thick cleans with nice bottom! I may try a WEBER, or a JBL, Jensen for Fendery Cleans, A1 amp, Im glad I own one this Z is so different than the many Z's I have owned , IT SOUNDS GREAT NO MATTER what you THROW at it!!!!!!!

Yup. Can't think of a better amp to be snowed in with. I am totally digging mine. I did try a EV. Sounded great, I do like that speaker... But the Cannabis Rex is my choice. I just can't imagine the amp sounding any better no how many more speaks I tried. It's impossible. CRex for me!

I've been using the WGS Retro 30 with mine and loving it. I'd love to try it with the C-Rex. The Therapy has a lot more sounds in it than I expected and it's fun to just keep twisting the knobs and find a new flavor to enjoy.

I've dumped Celestions altogether for this amp........ upper mid honk is too prominent for my taste - and gone with an Eminence Governor. Love it!! Honk is gone, and as it breaks in, the low end is coming in stringer too. Very sweet highs which suits this amp beautifully.
almost makes me wish I could get snowed it........... bright sunshine and 11C over here, so not much chance of that!!

I've got a Thiele ported EVM12L that I've been trying with different speakers on my Z's. It sounds great with everything, just a little different. Yesterday I took my Texas Heat and put it in my Z 1x12...wow. That speaker is a natural for the Therapy! I actually like it better by itself than paralleled with the EVM. At least in my studio; it may be different in a larger room.

I agree with mid honk , I didn't care for it with mid heavy speakers, my J/Gold setup worked good but I think Im gonna have to give the boys at eminence a try, Love their speakers. I have an Original 12-65 Celestion , Anyone tried that bad boy? I was also wandering about 2x10"s? LIke a Gold and a Weber Silver 10 Ceramic or heck even 2 10" Greens )

My main Celestion for a couple of years was a G12 65 - one of my C favs..... but still has that upper "edge / honk" I just could never dial out. AT gigs I had to be careful with OD / Boost pedals (always use warmer settings), pickup selection (ice-picky on a Strat or Tele bridge) etc., and I just sort of lived with it.......... but when I played my Therapy through Aynsley Lister's 2x12 Marshall cab loaded with Eminence Governors, as first I thought they were WAY too dark and muddy....... until I reset everything to "normal"! After that I realised that "edge / honk" had gone! Now, when they're new, they lack the bass response of the C speakers (G12 65 or V30) but as they break in, that comes back and the top end rounds out as well. This is something I noticed about he top end..... when most people say the top end "softens", to my ears it means it disappears; but with the Governor, it doesn't disappear at all, but gets "rounder", so maybe that's what "softens" really means? Although there's nothing "soft" about the top end - it cuts through cleanly, but it doesn't "ice-pick" at all. I am more impressed with this speaker than I ever thought I would be............
