Man--sweet deal on a great playing, near-mint, perfectly set-up guitar. The neck pickup on this thing just kills with beefy, woody goodness, and the bridge spits and snarls just like you want it to. Great neck--fast and comfy without being too skinny--great look, great tone. Not too heavy, either, at just under 8.4 lbs. She's a keeper--now all I need is one more Strat, and I'm done. No, really!
No, but seriously--I may end up selling/trading my Nash T-52 toward a Strat with a rw fingerboard, if I can find one that speaks to me. Then I really am done. No--really!

Congrats Jon, I got my 335 last summer and I love it. Great playing, fine sounding guitar that loves to be played. They sure are fun, aren't they? Hope you find your Strat. If you haven't tried one yet, you need to check out a Suhr Strat. I played one last week and I couldn't put it down. The neck pickup has this definition that makes you think you can hear the windings on the string. The Middle stands on it's own, it is a great tone. And the bridge really sounds up front without taking your head off with treble. It's an incredible guitar. They're around $2500.

EZ, also take a look at Mike DeTemple's strat pickups and take a look at the Dean Parks '04 video where he uses them through a Ghia.

Congrats! I'm not even sure what pups are in my 335, but I haven't thought about changing them for a second. I love how the body resonates and tickles my belly when my amp is cranked up. Love a good 335! Enjoy it Jon.

Thanks, Nicholas! This one's got '57 Classics, apparently. Came with the COA and everything. Yeah--it's a very resonant guitar; will get a little feedbacky on you, too--but in a good way!

Sounds great! What finish is it? They are special, I have one in iced tea sunburst and find myself always staring at the cherry finish. Dumb I guess.

This is the store pic--cherry finish, dot neck. I like the bursts, too, but the cherry popped up at a good price and I couldn't pass it up. It's a pretty lively color in person.

Thanks, Frank! So far, so good--gonna have to learn some more Chuck Berry licks, though! Aren't they ALL chuck berry licks?
Enjoy the guitar-I love the way a bound dot neck looks.
