AFAIK, the release date has been pushed back due to a parts shortage.
It's supposed to be available mid March, from what I gather, rather than the beginning of March, as was expected.
I'll be looking into one of these pedals.

Thanks zed, I wasn't aware of the set back. I had contacted Sweet-water and I was told receipt in April to me, so I was seeing what's happening out there.

The thing is Magic already...but if you could store the songs you made (like user 50 presets) you could do a whole night solo as a Trio. Yep, not out yet.

I'm going to order one. Anyone know price range? I'm guessing 149-199?

Has anyone played the Digitech Mosaic? They claim it tracks all six strings separately, thereby letting the b and high e act like a real 12 string, but I haven't seen a demo that demonstrates this.

Finally received the Trio after being backordered for about 2 months. Couldn't wait to try it out. This thing is awesome! This is the best practice tool I've ever used. My guitar playing is going nowhere but up from here. Stoked, and so much fun!

A friend and I are starting to record for our own amusement. The Trio should be a fun addition. I'm going to try to get one over the weekend.

I have one and I LOVE it. It's amazing and it's already making me a better player (I normally played alone, so having a drummer and a bass player has really helped my playing.

Love this pedal man! What a great tool...... It's like having your own private rhythm section that is perfectly happy for it to be all about you! Lol, endlessly playing for you to work out chops , comping, etc. brilliant!

Appears to be a useful practice tool, so I took the plunge. PGS is currently having a 15% off sale, which helped.

Had time to set it up today. No manual in my package, but pretty easy to get going. (I'll need the manual to check on some stuff.) I didn't try multiple part songs, just simple stuff. Playing lead lines into it was a problem: I couldn't follow the progression generated by the program. But that's probably user error. I had the most fun just strumming rhythm on a single chord. It came back with nice (and alterable) pattern that I could jam over. I can see this being very helpful for breaking out of ruts as well as for honing chops. The guitar effects are OK in a pinch, but I don't see anything going on that would prevent one from running pedals before the Trio's input. (You probably could run them after as well if you use the mixer output, which I assume splits off the bass and drum tracks.) If you want multiple guitar parts, you'll still need a looper. For me it will mostly be a practice tool, but I suspect some creative folks will do a lot more with it. (As Greg mentioned above, I don't think there's a way to store something you create and reload it later. You could, of course, record the output to preserve it.) Added: Manual is online here
