Is how much loud clean tone you can get from it. I spent a couple hours in Strat straight into clean Antidote bliss today Maybe some Tele tonight.

I just did a couple hours with the Tele. The Lollars on that guitar sound great with this amp.

I wish I could justify this amp..... As far as? Loudness? Yes, it is loud Finances? I can understand I had a Z28 for sale and happened to see this Antidote for sale and just posted the question to the seller for some type of trade, his first reply was no for he needed the cash. I understood as I was trying to sell my amp as well, I also needed the money. A couple of days later we reached an agreement and and we traded. The Antidote is a Big boys pants amp for sure. Something about them big bottle tubes

It has it's Own Tone. For clean, lower volume stuff you can attenuate it and run it through a 1x12. It is very touch sensitive and dynamic. It is worth it to discover all it's complexities and be willing to invest the time in it. It can also be a real bear some times but once you tame it you are rewarded. Use your guitar's volume and tone...

If I only had to pick one Z amp, the Dote is the one….though I do love my Remedy, glad I don’t have to choose…….life is good!

I'm thinkin' the Antidote might even be "louder" (notice it's in quotes) than the Delta 88..? Dang, I shoulda compared these when I got to borrow Steve's for a couple days. Man, the Antidote is nice--and it's LOUD, for sure.

The Antidote Kicks like a Mule! Not only is it loud but it pushes air hard and fast...

...it pushes air hard and fast... Yes. Yes, it does. I quickly found out why the Doc said that "Big Boy Pants" would be required for this beast.

This is one of my favorite Zs - doesn't get the love it should! The more time I spend with mine, the more I like it. Of course, I liked it when I got it, but between the need for Big Boy Pants and my other Zs, I sort of relegated the 'dote to "for fun at home when I'm in the mood for loud." Now I'm strongly considering gigging with it. It will be Air Braked, but the tone is so great.
