Not overly worried about Clean Clean as the Therapy clean to Glorious. So what amp would fit the spots the Therapy doesn't cover? A remedy? A Maz 18 with verb an M-12 ? Or should I just get some verb and a different OD for the Therapy and call it Good?

Try your Z wreck with the 210 and the Therapy with a 112 cab together, (I'd try the H first but the V30 if it's broken in may do the trick too) add a touch of reverb to either or both. You don't need more than you've got. The Maz into the 210 with the Therapy will work nice too. Don't forget the verb here also.

I have just been lazy -The Wreck is in Kris Richards hands- He plays it better then I can:

Call me crazy, but I think the MAZ series (with or without 'verb) is in a totally different sonic world than the Therapy. If you want something that goes where the Therapy doesn't, that's your ticket.

I am using a Gold with my MAZ 18 nr and a Z 2x10 w/Z 10s for the Therapy and I love the very noticeable tonal differences between these two amps.

All of them. The Therapy is different from every other one I've owned. You would do better to specify the sound you want that is different, because all of the others are as different from one another as the Therapy is different from them.

I think Steve's pots above sums it up perfectly - they're ALL very different from each other, so what do you want to hear? If you're looking for Vox like chime, then the Maz would do the trick, but I would have thought your Z Wreck would get there too......... That is the only tone I can think of that the Therapy does not excel at......... but then again, maybe I just need to twiddle a few knobbies

I have a Carmen Ghia that separates itself nicely from the Therapy. But to be N tops comment the Therapy does stand out from the voice of the other D Z amps

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the Monza. Strikes me as a fine complement to a Therapy set on the cleanish side.

Dr. Lee and Dr. Ice on the same page, even with them ole gremlins monkeying with Lee's post.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the Monza. Strikes me as a fine complement to a Therapy set on the cleanish side. Well, I never went into too much detail on it before... but I found the Monza to pretty much fill the sonic territory that I was lookin' for with the Therapy all along (gained-up drive, but not distortion). Although, I suppose there'd be an excellent reason to have both if you keep the Therapy on a clean-ish setting, and keep the Monza dialed up with nastiness. Almost like a Channel 1 and Channel 2, if you will--both amps seemed to have the same overall feel & response to me.

I use the Therapy for comping and such, and use an a/b/y switch to the Monza for high gain lead tone. It works great for me.

Ummm..... wait. I'm confused. What ground does the Therapy not cover? Again I say, "Monza!" I mean, ......... I can do everything I need for live gigs on a Therapy. Or a Wreck. Or a Remedy. All so versatile. Just did my 1st gig with the Therapy this weekend, rocked everything from Beatles (Something, Day Tripper), to Talking Heads (Life During Wartime) to Springsteen (Born to Run). Thing worked great! No pedals, straight into the Therapy head and 2-12 cab. A rocking lil rig. jj
