I got the chance to buy a pristine 66 Jaguar in Lake Placid Blue with a matching headstock. I had to trade two of my guitars and my Z-28 head for it so I'm Z-less now for the first time in 14 years. It's probably not a permanent situation though if the updated Jaz is everything it's cracked up to be.

Very, very cool. Dig that blue! How's it handle? Well I just got it so I don't have a lot of playing time on it yet. It has a very comfortable "B" profile neck that has been well broken in and doesn't have any dings or rough spots. I got it locally so I did have a chance to test drive it several times before deciding to pull the trigger.

Thanks for the positive vibes everyone. I had to trade in three pieces of gear I really enjoyed for this but I don't think I'll have any long term regrets. In the end, it's just stuff anyway.

That is beautiful. In the end, after a new Z is acquired, you will be just strummin and strummin making beautiful music and thinking how wonderful it is. Life that is....life with a beautiful Jag in the sweetest of colors.

Nice guitar! New JAZ is gonna be the Z-Luxe. Straight out of a post from the man himself [/p][/quote]
