Just a bit of fun, but I had the deep privilege of spending 3 days at a guitar workshop with the incredible Aynsley Lister and his band, a couple weeks ago. I took my Therapy rig along, and it went down really well! Don't get me wrong, there was some SERIOUS amperage in that room, mostly original 1960s Fender stuff, and a couple of very rare and truly magnificent 1974 Marshall JTMs (belonging to Aynsley), but just to say, with no BS, that the Therapy stacked up easily in such illustrious company!! Many of the guys wanted to play through her, including Aynsley, and she was universally loved. Here's a quick pic (no-one was allowed to video anything BTW, and in honestly, a camera phone would NOT do justice to the sounds in that room. I think there may be some "official" video taken by the the resident photographer and sound team, but I haven't seen those yet. Anyway, WHAT A BLAST!! (yes, I have my "focussed" face on all the time, as the room was filled with some seriously talented axmen...... and one of these BEST back line team out there. Really. What a privilege!!)

Thanks guys! It was flipping cold in that room - hence the sweaters! My nick name in my band is Maverick because they think I look like a pilot; at the weekend I was known as Dr Pete because they thought I looked like a doctor! I guess looking like Eric Clapton occasionally is a BIG step up!! If only I could PLAY like him, I'd be happy Some people are born to LOOK rock n roll - I'm just not one of them! The serious look is a look of concentration - these pics were taken whilst I was up demonstration some new technique or other we'd been workshopping all day, and being closely watched by Aynsley and the rest of the gang, several of whom were absolutely pro level players in their own right, so I have to admit, I felt the pressure a bit......... It was GREAT though!
