Here is another Route 66 clip. It demonstrates how bad is my guitar playing and how great the Route 66 can sound with a good OD pedal (Fulltone OCD in the present case). The clip is > HERE<

I like the playing AND the amp. Very cool. I often finds the OCD sounds a bit bright, but it is really nice with the route 66.

Very nice groove Man! Reminded me a little of Crosby, Stills and Nash without Young ;D. Great tone to boot. Works for me.

I dig the tone and the playing -reminds me of something that might be on the Black Crowes - I think the southern musical companion album - Thanks for posting

gimik are you sure you are not from my part of the world? Because that sounds like some mighty fine southern rock 'n roll to me. Mighty fine. What flavor of cabinet and Greenbacks are you using?

Thanks a lot for the kind words. My cab in a home made 2x12 loaded with "standard" greenback. This cab is oversized for a good bass response. I love it but my I really would like to own a Z-Best.

I love the tone and there is nothing wrong with your playing.Very raw and soulful.Sounds like a cross between David Grissom and the Black Crowes.I'd be very happy with that tone if it were me.

I thought it was pretty cool! I love the way your clips always have two guitar tracks, and the interplay between them is inspiring. Thanks for the great clip!

Thanks a lot for the very encouraging words.
We, French people, can be very pretentious on many subjects (see what I mean :-)) but as far as music is concerned we suffer from a inferiority complex. We even have a pop/rock singer (-M- quite famous here) whose song says (approx. translation) "it will always be better overseas" :-) You have produced the best music in the world. Jazz, blues, rock, country, funk, rap, ... almost every major music style since the begining of the 20th century. Impressive! Music seems be to part of your culture.
Thanks again folks. :-)
PS: tonepolice, I love the way David Grissom uses the major scales to produce very powerful licks. I really like his style.

Nice tone and nice blues feeling chops. Post a clip with the 66 cranked minus the OCD when you can so we can hear the difference in the drive/tone. Very nice, enjoyed it. ;D

Hey Nick! Good stuff. Definitely different from the maz clips. You've got a nice guitar vocabulary to go along with those fine amps. ;D

what backing tracks are you using? This sample is based on a simple drum loop I found on a demo CD that comes with my MI-Audio soundcard. I put it in the center of the mix then recorded two guitar tracks using a stock RI 62 Telecaster. On the software side, I use Cubase SX. After a few months, I can confirm that the Z are really killer amps. My preferred configuration is my (stock) ES-335 plugged into the Maz 38. I really like the association of the 335 fat touch with the bright spirit of the Senior. I really appreciate your feedback guys. Thanks!
