i've got a Black Strat with Tortoise now which I find a little to dark in the sense not enough contrast, So I want to try different color, I've narrowed down to Pearloid of Mint Green and Pearloid of Red. What you all think ?

Black Strat with Mint Pearloid Guard and black knobs, switch tip, and pup covers sounds mighty snazzy, Stan!

I am leaning more toward the mint green pearloid.
The price of my opinion is that you MUST post a picture of it here after you get it put back together! :-)
Best, Eddie

I must admit I'm leaning towards the Mint Green as well,
I did try to find a pic or two with the Pealoid Mint Green and came up empty.
And of course pics will up as soon as feasible :>)

Seeing the Mint Green with the black background on your photo, I think that would look best.

Mint pops more. Is red that different from your original?

Mint pops more. Is red that different from your original? I faked the red sampling the image from the original post. I can pretty much guarantee its not exactly the same red but I thought it was close enough to get the point across...

I'm with Ridgeback. Non-pearloid mint green. I'll go a step further and add parchment pickups and knobs. A similar look worked for a guy named Clapton.

Here's an unflattering pic of how she currently looks. I will be using the same knobs and pup covers and converting to SSS in the process.

Baconator died laugh with your mock up post.
Shouldn't Ginger be Red and MaryAnn be Mint, just thinking.
Oops, I think this thread will get hijacked and lots more interesting now.
