I was introduced to these guys' music over Xmas by a relative. I was floored. This may not be for everyone, but it's in my wheelhouse.
They are somewhat Everly Brothers meets Simon & Garfunkel and then some. There's is some neat guitar playing happening Too !
This clip is from the DVD documentary that's a tribute to the music in & that inspired the Coen Brothers Inside Llewyn Davis. I'm in the process of getting their albums and concert DVD now.
In this video, it's neat to see the guy crying part way through. That's the guy from Mumford & Sons and he hadn't heard of these guys and he was brought to tears my the pure sound on their voices and twin guitars.
For me, this is magic...

I love the milk carton kids. One of my favorite bands right now and they have my kind of comedy between songs live.

Keith, since you like the milk carton kids you might want to check out "Good Old War." They have some simon and Garfunkeley characteristics as well (leaning more toward the poppy Paul simon side of things, along with the tight harmonies.) and you should check out Pokey Lafarge. He's basically old school americana/folk/rockabilly with some big band jazz influence. Very cool instrumentation.
