very cool! Man, it's great to have goods to make those tough decisions. Keep on Rockin. ;D Thanks for the reply. I'm suffering from Stang Ray vs RXES Jr gas... Well to be honest I want many many many Zs.

Well to be honest I want many many many Zs. Don't I know it... I've had five in the last 12 months - and I have GAS real bad for a Maz Jr right now. Ow, my aching pocketbook!

I really like the tone on this clip. It seems a lot chewier than the Doc's other EL-84 amps. Is that just how these amps are in general? (nice chops too!) ;D

Also, is this a combo or a cab? What config sounds the best with the RX ES amps?

Not sure how to answer your question since I have experience with only this one. I will say I bought mine based on telejas' clips of his RXES, and I got basically what I expected. Also, is this a combo or a cab? What config sounds the best with the RX ES amps? I have a 2x12 cab I'm using with mine. But I'm only using one of the Alnico Golds in that cab (Stingray is hooked to the other one). If I were to get a combo, I would get the 1x12 with Gold no question. In fact, I've been half tempted since I like the sound of it so much. My 2x12 is an open back cab, so the combo is going to be pretty close to the same tones.
