I'm quite please with the tones this thing can do. My playing not withstanding, the rig sounds good to me!!
Enjoy the Zness here:

I love the tone of your guitar: It seems "bigger" than a fender Strat. What strings did you use?

Steve, that looper is just my little Line 6 DL4 delay with its cheesy built-in 14-sec capacity looper. Novel idea, but not enough storage time to be useful.
Doc T: Thanks for the kind words on this "Strat". It's my Zion strat-- swamp ash/birdseye top/birdseye neck and fingerboard. Pups are the Kinman AVn Blues. The strings are actually a coated string! Yes, these are the DR "Extra life" that have the coating in different colors. This particular set is a standard 10ga set 10-46. They are about 6 weeks old, too!
The FD2 is at 18V, but you can hear that it's not on all the time. I'm also switching between pickup positions 1 and 4 (neck and middle/bridge) at different points-- and there's a stretch of just bridge pup that's pretty clear if you're listening for it.

Nice Hohn, I can listen to a StangRay all day .
Great tone just be careful with that single Celestion Blue and the StangRay.

Thanks, fellas.
Doc, if I could play this thing half as good as you made it, I'd be about as happy as a player could ever be.
Stay tuned to me proving that the Stang can do EVERYTHING-- a hard rock/power chord clip is next....
