I know this technically belongs in the amp section however it's a little unique. This one is coming to the muZum next week. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what it is? BTW - unmodded from the factory. BTW - thanks Jason for making me take a second look at this!

What's the J to the right of the Speaker? Can't make out what it says underneath it....I like prescription proto idea because of the interesting knob layout. Cool find.

I don't know, but if you turn it up it'll clean the leaves out of your gutters.

Early Prescription combo? I'm thinking RXES with that little mini toggle switch up front.

Nmz is correct - it's a Dr. Z! Doc literally built it himself. Zed is correct - It is an early V1 RX made before Doc decided to name it a Prescription. Only a couple of these were made according to Doc. Should be here next week - then probably out to Doc's for a tune-up. Can't wait to hear it in all it's glory!

If you click any of the linked pics, it takes you to the album titled, "Early Prescription Combo". I had to come clean. What I lack in knowledge, I gain in cunningness.

You're welcome... and technically I was the 1st to guess correctly, jus sayin... COOL amp! You are correct that you were first to guess what it was! Got it today - really cool amp. Appears to be nearly all original in really good shape just a couple of little scuffs in tolex one of which I was able to repair.
