Hey guys, I've got a custom Thiele 1x12 inbound in a week or so, and it's an unfinished pine/baltic ply build. No hardware, so I need to get a handle, feet, and some corner protectors for it. I really like Z's hardware, does anyone know where I could source something identical or similar?

^^Yup. Mojotone.
What are you going to use for a speaker? EVM12L sound great in just about any enclosure, but really great in a thiel. Good luck with it. Take some pics along the way!

Agree with nicolaus about the EVM12….I have one in a Mesa Thiele cab that sounds great with any amp I hit it with. Only downside for me is it's weight.

Got the cab and couldn't wait to hear it, so before I do the finishing work, I put the EVM12L in and let 'er rip. Great sounding cab. The EV has a really clear voice, and it sounds really smooth paired with the 1x12/Creamback Z cab. I like the way an open back cab fills the air, so I probably won't use it unless we do a really big show. I was originally planning to stack my 1x10 Red Fang loaded Monza with it but after doing some tests I don't know if it's really necessary. I cranked the Monza up to 10 on the MV. Incredibly loud amp. The Monza blows my mind.

A Z-Best mini stack eh? Did you have the cab made to fit the width of the head? I like that. It seems to me most cabs like this are a bit too narrow to fit the Z head cabinets. I'll bet it kicks some nice midrange.

I've used a EVM12L in that type of cabinet paired with a lot of different other speakers. I always liked the way it added some clarity and definition to the overall sound; especially pushed HARD such as when on an outdoor stage. Not so much in a small club setting because I couldn't get the cone moving enough to hear it's benefits.
Using a pair of TL cabs with EV's I never had any trouble keeping up with other player's half-stacks or even a full-stack on one occasion. A Peavey Black Widow will work well in that cabinet also. I know they don't get much love on this forum but I like them. They are the Go-To speaker in those cabs for steel guitar players. Although most of the time they use a 15"BW.

I'm curious, is this the cabinet offered by TRM on eBay? If so, I've looked at that cab several times over the past year or two..

Yes, it was TRM. I asked him to widen it to 19 3/4" or whatever the Therapy head is wide, and he took off a little bit of depth to make the interior volume right. Nice cab, fair price. Good guy to deal with too.

I wonder how something like that would compare to the Z open-back 2x12. I love it but it can be a little cumbersome at times (i.e. all the time). It's incredibly good for recording.
That gets me thinking. How would you typically record a ported cab like that? With the open-back, I like to stick a mic or two in the back. would you mic the speaker as well as the port in an ported cab?
