Agreed! Beautiful nuances and textures in your playing in both of those clips Bill. The Gold sounds sweet, but you just convinced it was time to pick up a couple Greenbacks for an unloaded cab I have. Thanks... that's 200 clams I wasn't planning on spending. ;D Great sounds and playing Mad dog! I reaaaally liked the sound of the greenback...never thought of it paired with the 'Ray. Thanks for posting. I was just about to say the same thing ripple...I loved the sound of the greenie with the 'Ray!! I wonder what it would sound like next to a g12h30 or a Weber blue dog in my 2x12 cab! Yet another wrinkle in the fold!

I put a Gold into a old 1x12 Garnet Rebel Combo I have and it made it unbelievably loader! Before I would have it at 3/4 volume for practice and actually bought a Bad Bob boost to give it a little more juice when needed. Now with the gold in it I can barely turn it on! No joke...I was in shock. Even at decent sized gigs I have at 9 maybe...I think it's only 30 watts or so but it's way more then I ever need with the Gold attached. I can't turn it loud enough to get it into the sweet spot for almost all our gigs. That's why I'm here now...I got the GAS for a 18 watt Z.

As a rule, I dis-like Greenbacks..... but they sound GREAT in that clip, better than the golds IMO.

That Gold sounds fantastic. Why do they have to cost so much? What can I sell to get one? Thanks for the clip - now I know a Gold needs to go on my "must get" list.
Oh! Great guitar too!
