Fedex just dropped of a beautiful, mint condition, KT 45 head today, Mahogany panel, tube rectified, runs 4,8 or 16 ohm cabs, what a killer tone!! Articulate as anything I've ever played, Big, Bold, tight bottom, perfect mids and the sweetest high end. What a beautifully simple, toneful amplifier. I've gotta couple speaker options I can use, a 2/ 12 cab should be here tomorrow. G 12 H 30 with a V 30, or G 12 H 30 with a UK Greenie. I played today thru the second combination above, beautifully clear-full range-ripping tones spewed forth. I haven't tried it yet with a Humbucker equipped guitar, I couldn't put the strat down !! ( Surles ). Christ, what an amp!! oh yeah, I already said something to that effect. Deal em up boys, I'm in!!! Thanks a bunch for lettin me sign up, I'll be checkin' back in often, I'll be hollerin' at ya, seems like a real nice place. I gotta go getta beer, cool down some, a guy my age shouldn't be allowed to get this excited on a regular basis!! Ok, Take care and Thanks again, Gary

Welcome Gary, I bet it's a killer amp. You better be careful as you might get an Aussie called Groovergeorge all excited again over this amp. I think he's decided on a smaller wattage but this might just get him going again. I think it would be a great A/B amp with the 66!

Welcome! The more 45 owners the better! And Groover just needs to get one and get it over with, he'd feel much better. ;D

Well what a suprise, my old sparing partners here have beaten me to you Just warning you out though, you probably should have bought a blonde tolex or black one without the woood panel. The ones with the wood panels although sounding good don't quite match the others tonally. I'd be more than happy to take it off you for a good price and put someone else before myself. ;D By the way,any chance of you posting some pics of it?

That's probably the one I saw on TGP, when I pulled it up it had been listed for 1 minute, great price and it was all I could do to NOT pull the trigger..............broke out in a sweat, I've never passed up a deal before !!
Cool score, hope she's perfect.

Dang, you guys know how to make a guy feel right at home!! Yeah, I got this one from my old tradin buddy-Cotton Stewart, he always has real nice gear, plus, he's one of the nicest, most honest-easy to deal with boys on the internet. Hell, we don't even wait for the money to arrive, either one of us says the word and the gear is in the mail. A true gentleman he is. Anyways, thanks to everyone who welcomed me to the board, nice to visit a real easygoin bunch. Hey Skydog, I love that username, been going to see the ABB EVERY chance I get for the last 37 years. Goin to watch those boys once or twice every summer is a real treat for me n my wife. Back in 1975, I was at a bar in Michigan, saw this real, long tall beauty at the jukebox, in my very sophisticated way-I holler across the bar room " Hey mama, play some Allman Brothers ", now, this girl had no idea who the hell I was talkin about, she was a young 'un, just turned 18, but she played " Blue Sky " for me. She liked the song pretty much, but I think she liked me better!! As fate would have it, we're still together 32 years later!!!!! We were both just kids, now my wife is 50 and I'm 55, I love her more every day. Anyway, Thanks again for having me onboard, this is my new favorite place to hang out, Take care, Gary

Hey Gary, welcome again, that was a STEAL on that amp, like I said I caught that as soon as Cotton posted and it took everything I had to NOT pull the trigger, as the regulars here know..I'm not affraid to buy an amp or two !!
Trying to finish the studio and some other things here.
Good call on the amp, plenty here will take it off your hands when and if your ready.

Yeah man, I thought it was a great price. That's the way Cotton is though, ALWAYS fair in his dealings. Actually, I didn't have to come up with all the money, as we made a partial trade, I sent him a beautiful Corona Ca. strat, shoreline gold, that was just sitting in it's case, I didn't really need 3 strats, so it was an easy choice for me to make. Ol Cotton, he's as good as they come, never a worry dealing with him. Ok tele, Take care and I'll holler at ya later, Gary

Nice! Welcome to the Z-gang. Z amps are like Doritos chips, you can't have just one...one taste of their delicious tone and you want more and moRE AND MORE! ;D Just ask Curt (tele62)...he's an Z-addict. I have the 6545 and the KT-45 side is by FAR my favorite of the 2. It's a great, great tone.
