Hi guys,
I prefer asking, before doing something stupid. ;-)
1. I have a Brake Lite in my Maz 8 combo.
2. I'm satisfied with it, so much that I bought another Brake Lite, which I'll set inside my to come 1x12 cab (it will be used mainly with my to come Therapy head).
3. I plan to try both speakers in parallel (with both the Maz and Therapy), using a Y speaker cable.
So, the question is: If I'm understand correctly, I could go amp, Y cable and than each BL to each speaker, or amp, 1 single BL and than each speaker. Is that correct? If so, the first solution seems more confortable to me, because I could use the cabinets together or separately quite easily. And I could use the Brake Lite to compensate any sensitivity difference between two speakers (for example first BL on 1 with a G12H30 and second BL on zero with a G12M). What to you think about that? Have you tried?
Thanks for your help! ;-)

Without a detailed mathematical model it is hard to say if using two Brake Lites with a single head would present a poor impedance match (it's probably ok, but you're on your own if not). I am certain I can say using a single Brake Lite with two speakers is perfectly fine, so long as you match your speakers impedance to the correct output jack on your amp.

Yes, option 2, with one single BL and 2 speakers seems okay (I've read it somewhere down here). I'm gonna investigate some more before trying out the option 1, don't want to mess with any of these! ;-)

I've used 2 BLs in series before with no problem. In parallel you'd better check your impedance, or just use the 4 ohm output of the amp (so long as the overall speaker impedance is greater than the amp output you're okay)
