So being that I am a huge Nels Cline fan I have decided to build a Jazzmaster. Here is where I am thinking of going. Guitar Mill for the Jazzmaster body and neck. Thinking about running Lollars and instead of a Jazzmaster pu in the neck postion how about a P90. Going to refinish myself with nitro cellulose from: Guitar Ranch Thinking either that old oldsmobile pink/purple vibe small metallic or perhaps Fender pink. Mastery Bridge for the bridge and tremelo. What is everyone's opinion on quality tuners, pots and switches for this setup? I know it won't be cheap but I like to play them and don't care about resale.

CTS Pots are the "American Fender Standard" for quality. Nothing really to complain about them...they work, and feel great.
I personally love the Bourns Conductive Polymer pots....they are stellar. The taper/feel is my favourite by far. They are sealed so will pretty much never wear out or get scratchy. They are more expensive...but are IMHO worth it.
Gotoh Delta 510 tuners... 21:1 ratio... the best tuners on the market. Expensive but worth it. If you don't want to spend that much, Gotoh tuners are the best. Period.... I install a metric-buttload of tuners in my customers guitars...and have tried them ALL. Nothing else feels as solid or exudes quality like Gotoh tuners.
switches.... what style of switch do you want? Switchcraft is pretty much the standard. for 3 way LP style switches.

What a fun project ... I've always wanted to do a project like the one you're doing. Have fun and keep us in pictures during the process for maximum fun time. I like the idea of the buick color combo instead of the typical Fender pink.

Post some pics when you're done building! I'd love to own a Jazzmaster some day. Never had a chance to play one, but they sure do look cool.
