There is some asking for "Rock" type sounds with Z's so the band I am with has put a couple of songs on our myspace. The rhythm guitar track on the song Push Comes To Shove is a RX ES with a Z - Best 2x10 cab(stock) The set up in case you want to know is: '62 Re-issue strat with a Callaham bridge assembly->Barber Direct Drive->Rotosphere (in the chorus) to RX ES and 2x10 cab. The Treble is about 10 O'Clock, Mids and Bass about 2 O'Clock the Volume is about 3 O'Clock, and the boost is on The other song is the same set up with a BYOC Envelope Filter added for the rhythm part and then the first solo is the setup listed above. The other guitar (2nd solo on Anything Goes, and Solos on Push Comes to Shove) is a Fuchs ODS 30 with 6V6's and 2 x 12 open back cabinet. I'm not sure what he's using for effects, as it changes as often for him as it does for me The songs can be found at: www.myspace.com/thefingertreeHope this will help some people make a choice....
