I have been playing my new Fano TC6 carved top for a month now and I am even more excited than the day I bought it. This guitar is a new dimension what vintage sound is concerned. 2 of my Fender CS guitars (a Strats and a Tele) do not feel and sound right in comparison. Especially one of the Strats. So I sold it. And I am going to sell also the Tele. In the meantime I learned a lot about a Nashville based guitar player and guitar builder, Dan Strain and his Danocasters. Awesome replicas but more important: great reviews on those guitars and affordable prices. A Z-talk member, Lash LaRue helped me decide. He is the owner of a Danocaster Tele and a Strat. So...I ordered a single cut (Tele) Danocaster. Now it's 4 months to wait. A long time!!! I will let you know when it comes...

Nice! I've heard really good things about what he's been turning out lately. And I may or may not be considering a S- Style myself...

if you want a really great sounding (and looking) S-style guitar than go for a Dano. I have played so many CS from the famous brand which didn't sound right while costing a fortune...there are dealers selling CS Strats that say: the first thing you have to do is swap the pickups...unbelievable for guitars priced 3 to 6 grand... but often even after swapping pickups those guitars do not sound right.
