Maybe this question has been asked and answered before, but does anyone have an opinion on where the eq should be set on a Dr Z KT45 for a relatively "flat eq" setting, which I would think would be nice as a pedal platform?
I typically set the amp (depending on venue) with the bass and treble on 3 o'clock, and the volume anywhere from noon to 3 o'clock depending on how much crunch I want. I use an Alex Attenuator to keep the thing within small club volume tolerances...

I had a KT and for clean pedal stuff bass and treble around 10 to noon and volume in the same 10 to noon range. More clean headroom in that amp.

When I use mine with my archtops (through a 1x12 open-back Mesa cab), I set t=8, b=10 and v=noon. The guitars are usually set about v=5t, t=5.
I know this is an application that's atypical for a KT45, but it works and is quite potent on the bandstand.

Since I'm a pedal board player, I prefer a fairly neutral setting and tend to run my treble at around noon and the bass around 9-10 o'clock. I usually keep my master volume low since it's so loud.

I use my kt as a clean platform and use pedals. My settings vary but here is what I have been using the most--V around noon, treble around 10 o'clock, and bass about 4 o'clock. Really am liking these settings lately with my tele and strat.

I find the KT much brighter than the Route so I tend to run it with Treble 11-noon Bass 3. I Run the Route with Treble 3 Bass 11-noon (hmm exactly opposite). KT is still brighter than the Route with these setting but without cranking the Bass above noon, the amp has too much treble for me. I run the volume at 10-11 so it is still pretty clean for my pedal use.
