What would a person need to do to properly convert an empty combo cab to an extension cab? It's an empty 112 Maz Jr. I don't care about the back of it so much....it's the empty part in the front...does a fella get something to close the opening or just let it go?

While you're waiting to order a valance from Harvey, you could swing by Home Depot and pick up some thin pieces of wood in the shelving section. I did that with my old MAZ combo cab to close off the front, then used some thicker shelving boards to make back panels. It worked pretty good. Definitely not as nice looking as something from Harvey, though. Here are pics of the front and back. The whole conversion was completely reversible with no external evidence. Just a few screw holes on the inside of the cab. The chassis bolt holes were plugged with plastic push in plugs from the hardware store. Someone on the Z Forum came up with that solution, but I can't remember who.

I bought a 10" combo cab new. The piece that I took out to mount the Z-28 head fit perfectly in the Maz combo cab I use just as a speaker cab. It just wedged it's self in there. See if anyone's got one that's the same color of the cab you have.
