Hi, I've just joined the forum, having been a lurker for a while. I'm based in Australia.
I purchased my used 2009 model EZG 50 head last year, largely on the basis of helpful comments and reviews on this forum.
I run it into a home brew Matchless style cab, loaded with two 12" Celestion alnico golds. Needless to say, it sounds awesome.
I'm thinking my next Z will be a Z28, or a Maz Jr, just because.

Welcome. You can't go wrong with any Z. It's just a matter of what suits. Z-28 and MAZ are both excellent choices.
Where in Australia are you located?

Congrats on the amp and welcome to the forum!
Is there a dealer down that way?

I think Global Vintage in Sydney was the dealer, but stocks seem to be low so I don't know if he's still active. There was a bit of stock there when I visited early 2012. Could have snared a Maz18 jr whilst I was there, kind of kicking myself for not doing it. My EZG was purchased used on eBay from an Aussie seller. It's 240V.

Welcome!
The MAZ Jr. would be perfect as a second Z, but as everyone says, you can't go wrong with either a MAZ or a Z28.
If you go with a MAZ Jr, you may want to watch for one that has the tone bypass option. The MAZ is cool with the tone stack in place, but perhaps a bit too tame for some - it isn't really very gain-y - but with the tone stack removed, it gets quite fun to play. A lot like having two amps to choose from in one box.
What sort of guitar music do you play mostly?
Best, Eddie

Bear in mind that the pickings for Dr Z gear in this country are pretty slim, especially if I want 240V. Very occasionally I see used examples but a lot of these seem to be US voltage imports which require a step down or conversion, both of which ideally I'd like to avoid. In the meantime I'll continue to scour ebay and Gumtree for opportunities.
Oh and Eddie, I play both kinds of music, and then some. Seriously, I'm fairly eclectic but I gravitate towards alt country, rocky R&B old school stuff. Other amps I own include Vox AC15 hw and some tweed clones.
