So how many do you have? Sitting on my shelf currently are a Bud Wah, Fulldrive 2 10th Anniversary, Xotic BB, RC and AC, and Fredric Effects Golden Eagle. The Wah never gets used. The Fulldrive works well with my Deluxe Reverb, but that rarely gets used. The BB and RC are great, but both were replaced a couple of years ago by my KOT. The AC doesn't really do it for me, and I never use it. The Eagle is an excellent Klone which I haven't used since i got my KTR recently, though the KTR isn't really any better. I could release some cash by selling all of these, but I always think it's good to have a few backups, and some pedals work better with different amps not that I'm planning to change the Maz....). Of course this is nothing, our bass player must have around eighty pedals not being used

Got a few myself, including a Bud Wah, FD II, Fat Boost, Lovepedal Superlead, Wampler Sovereign, a tuner or two, and a Carbon Copy on my board that I haven't stepped on in quite a while. Might have to clean house at some point, but I never know when my son will stop by and ask to borrow something!

I'm afraid to count since I know it would be embarrassing. I'd guess at least a dozen, but it could be more. The more I play my Z's, the less I worry about pedals. Time for a fire sale!

Blue Tube Dunlop Crybaby Korg Blackout EHX Holy Grail Plus Malekko Reverb Keeley Katana Barber Dirty Bomb
PedalTrain 3 w/ soft case and Dunlop power block w/cables (has never left the house)
I went from 3 boards to 2, hence the excess.
BTW, all of this is available at reasonable prices.

I've got a ton!
A few years ago, I sold a bunch figuring that I would keep the stock-pile low, but all I really did was free up room, money and excuses to buy more!

My only un-used pedals are boost pedals. I have 3 that I alternate between...a Flying Dragon, a Donkey Punch, and a 19Sixty3...they all 3 have a slightly different flavor. Right now I'm using the 19Sixty3.

A bunch.
I did sell a few earlier this year to buy a Z-Verb.
Still too many. Back when you could find used pedals for $25 or so I had a hard time passing up pretty much anything that was less then $30.

In the cabinet currently: Timmy EP booster Dano Chorus Dano ChiliDog TC Flashback Crybaby/Vox transitional period wah-only reason it's not being used is waiting on parts so I can wire it up. Need a new switch and add a power supply b/c the 9V cabling is bad.
I don't keep many pedals around. If it's not being used it goes bye bye unless it's a hard to find one like the Expandora, which is on the board for tonight's gig.

Just one. A booster. I usually just sell stuff I don't use.

Every pedal I own is on my board. I keep telling myself I need to stop selling pedals, even if I don't use them. There have been a few that I would like to still use occasionally.

I sold off a number of them a few months back that weren't getting use: Vox wah-wah , Xotic BB , EP , and a spare AC and Wampler Ego Compressor. On my PT mini board I have a TU-3 tuner , Gnarly Fuzz , Xotic AC and RC and a Carbon Copy delay. On the shelf I only have a Boss Multi-Overtone that is a "specialty" pedal that I do like , but can't squeeze onto the board. It took me a long time to let go of the pedals , I am trying to get the mentality of "If it isn't used , move it!". Not easy.

Sounds to me like you guys could have a ball swapping pedals around amongst each other. Wouldn't cost anything but shipping......

Having said that I don't use my AC booster, I plugged it in between my Les Paul and Ghia a couple of days ago, sounded great! I normally use my OCD for 'buckers, but I'll have to reconsider that one. Just shows, maybe it's good to hang on to this stuff:-)

Just shows, maybe it's good to hang on to this stuff:-) That's my belief. I keep a pretty large flock of pedals, mostly dirt boxes, around. In the last few weeks I managed to part with three of them, while adding two new ones

They're not my "don't get used" pedals, they're my "just in case" pedals.

They're not my "don't get used" pedals, they're my "just in case" pedals. Nicely put, sir! I am adopting the same approach to pedals as I do to clothes...... two seasons un-used, they get moved on! Focusses the mind wonderfully!

Thanks to my friend Todd, I was able to give most of mine a new home. I've gone from two boards, with 36 choices - down to one board with just 8. But I'm also realizing what so many here have commented on in the past. That is, the more time you spend playing a Z - the less pedals you use...

Like a few others have said, nearly everything I have is on my board. I really only have a wah, volume pedal, and looper that I keeep around that aren't on the board. For everything else, if I don't use it, then it goes.
My board isn't that big, only allows for about 8 pedals. I promised myself a while ago that if I couldn't get it done with 8 pedals then I just needed to practice more!

I used to get calls to play with several different types of bands so I had to keep a lot of pedals to fill those niches. I don't play out that much any more but it's hard to shake the gear habit. In addition to what's on my board I probably have 15 to 20 pedals in reserve. Some of them are loaned out to other guitarists and I'll likely never see them again.
