The Maz 8 is referred to as "single ended." What does that mean?

a single ended power section is a Class A amp where the complete signal goes through one tube (or more tubes in parallel). it has to be understood as "half" of a Class A push pull stage in which you have 2 power sections (each with one or more tubes in parallel) with one phase inverter in front, one section for the positive half wave and one for the negative half wave. in the single ended circuit you do not need a phase inverter.
