That's really great playin' Madison. Sounds like that backing track was made for you. I bet you've been playin' more now that you've got the Stingray cause it sounds like it.

Man that low end is thick and smooth. rc, I went through a couple takes and on playback it sounded too much like the other country backing track (Wide Brim) I did a couple days ago. Just a touch of Zen put a different slant on the tone, a little darker & fatter...just enough to try and keep it interesting. arun, thanks man!

LOL Familiar? That backing track is 'The World' by BP. It pretty much sounds like it chord for chord!

Hmmm....isn't it from a Roland JS-5 Jamstation? I used to have one, and this certainly sounds like one of the tracks.

Oops...sorry for the misleading post. I was listening to the Beckish clip, which is the one that sounds like a Jamstation backing track. Playing and tone sounds good, but I wish it were a little higher in the mix...good guitar playing deserves to be heard.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your comments!
John, the "Beckish" clip was created by Scott Lerner, he told me in an email but I can't remember where it originated from. Is that the clip or the the "Five Gallon" that needs more guitar in the mix? thanks
