Hi, the reverb on my EZG50 is not working. I can tap on the tank and get the typical clanging spring sound but no verb when I play through it. Thanks for the help. Ted

Check the RCA plugs to make sure they are plugged in fully. Make sure the 2 12AT7 tubes are seated properly and are glowing.

+1 on the cable connections, both to the amp and the ones inside the reverb tank bag. Mine was working, but not at the level I thought it should and after checking\swapping tubes and re-seating the cable connections to the amp, it turned out the problem was related to the connections to the tank itself. I even went in and reseated the (very fragile looking) connections inside the tank. They were plugged in all the way but after pulling and then reattaching them, my reverb was much stronger. I think that reverb signal must be very susceptible to leakage in the cable connections. Hope you get it fixed.

All seems well there. The amp hasn't moved since the last time it worked.

I had the same issue years ago with a MAZ18. It was the tiny wires inside the reverb tanks. one of them broke. it was a very easy fix. sometimes one of the transducers inside the tank fail. then you need a new one

Ok, I'll check to connection to the tank. Thanks Connections can oxidize so a quick unplug and plug in can help. Consider putting a little electronics cleaner on the plug and re insert a couple of times.

Might be the reverb driver tube though. Worth swapping in another to see.

My problem was a reverb wire had broken. If you need a new tank here is a source that Doc has used. It cost me less than $25 shipped. Highly recommended. www.tubesandmore.com/products/reverb_tanksBTW - Welcome to the forum! A lot of really good people and information here! We're always willing to hep a fellow Z-Natic.
