With sadness, I sold my Antidote yesterday to forumite sonicboom... Shipped it off today. I loved the amp dearly, but it was just too much amp for me. I'll be back in the Z- fold soon though.. I'm thinking about a 28.
Welcoming Fernando to the land of Antidote:)

Man I know how you feel. I really liked the Antidote and wish I was able to use it more.

The amp has quite some torque to it. A Brake Lite and some distortion and OD pedals and the Antidote can be used in a lot of places. It can be hard to tMe it to "Coffee House" levels...

That Antidote is really a lot of amp to contend with. I recently bought one and my hearing's been suffering ever since, LOL. I tried the Airbrake with it, but it's not the same. It sounds so good though, so I'll be using it more for recording.

It really is an amazing and unique amp, and I'll miss it.. Had 10 good months with it;) I tried the air brake too, but it didn't sound the same to me. I had to accept the fact that I need a lower-powered amp.

Running it low helps and I found beautiful cleans with it. Stevie Ray Vaughan used a Marshall for clean and the fender dirty. Many guys are taking the old marshalls and changing them over to KT88's for clean headroom. The greatest tones are very loud but a good OD pedal you find some thick clean tones that rival my EZG
I think "the belt was slipping" in the last part of my quote. What I meant to say was that even at low volumes a good OD pedal into the Antidote will give you some real sonic bliss!

Baby! The amp arrived safely. Holy Macaroni this amp feels like a 100 watts Marshall. So loud. The eq barely needs to be touched to acquire the desire tone, at least with single coils.

Yeah, the Antidote was featured quite prominently at this summer's Michigan Z-fest jam. The amp was hardly turned up, not even breakin' a sweat, and still needed attenuation to play with the band. The good Dr. was right when he debuted the Antidote and said we'd need our "big boy pants" for that amp...
