It's from the late 80's/ early 90's with just the two knobs on the side. It looks sweet, but it's just been hanging on my wall for a year or so now, and the only thing holding me back from getting rid of it is sentiment and how unique it is. I saw one exactly like it at a garage sale when I was 15 or 16, and then it showed up on craigslist 4 or 5 years later, so I picked it up. Think it's worth holding on to?

Man I'd keep it! Looks like briars and barbed wire!

Man I'd keep it! Looks like briars and barbed wire! Or a massive lightning storm. Interesting for sure.

Wow...I was always a fan of "crackle" finishes, back when I was playing in hard rock bands. A lot of the 80's and 90's guitars had finishes like that in a host of different colors. I've never seen an ovation with one before though. Pretty unique!

Yeah, I'll probably end up keeping it, because I doubt I could get $200 for it. At that point, since I already have it, I may as well keep it. And yeah, I love the design and the inlays on the fretboard! Haven't had much of a chance to plug it in though.

Reminds me of something that Buddy Blaze or Richie Sambora would have used. Very cool looking guitar.
