Sounds like many similar garage days with me boys. I've been just doing a duo with my drummer for the last year or so, but recently our old guitar player friend has been coming out and we've been doing something new with him. The duo remains intact....But for the new trio I've really been learning how to communicate what I'm hearing and encourage the other two guys to do the same. Learning to communicate and listen was not the natural thing for us as we were always reaching to get in a flow and let the music takes us to where ever.
What are you recording with? Thought I heard some singing in the background .... you per chance? Keep 'em coming I need Mysticism myself.

We're writing. We jam with the vocals too but just to get ideas for a song perhaps. Even the jams get unique names. The jams are often long and meandering and I edit things down. I record with a Zoom H2. I come from punk so it's a stretch fit to jam for 15 minutes plus. It absolutely demands listening.

Those Zooms work great. The other guitar player has one and it was incredible how it could pick up so much noise and we'd actually almost hear it like it was mixed. I've got the listening thing down, but I just don't know where to go on the guitar sometimes to find what I'm hearing. I am pretty sure that's why others have studied how to play the guitar so that when they hear they can play it.
I am enjoying the clips you're posting so thanks again.
