I just pulled the trigger on a TC Electronics Polytune 2 mini tuner. I was looking for a tuner to put on my grab & go pedal board. I've always used the Boss TU tuners but the reviews are good in this thing and I got it plus ac adapter and 2- 6" patch cords for $89 with free freight. Just wondering if any of you guys had tried these and what your thoughts were.

I have been a Polytune user since they came out. I currently have a Polytune 2 (full size) and a mini (v1). I see they just came out with a Polytune 2 mini....hmm
The Polytune 2 is much better than the 1. The display is brighter. I would have issues seeing the screen if I was playing outside at a fest during the day. The Polytune 2 doesn't have that issue. The Polytune 2 is also much more accurate and I have since sold my strobe tuner and just use the Polytune 2 to set intonation.
You have to watch out cause the Polytune Mini doesn't have a 9v battery. It is too small. The Mini is about the same cost as the regular Polytune so if you have the real estate on your pedalboard, get the full size.
What I really like is to be able to quickly check my tuning after each song by simply hitting the button and strumming all 6 strings. I tried the other tuners like the Boss, Korg, etc but I like the Polytunes the best.

The only downside I've had w my ptmini 1 is the switch sticking during live use. Gonna see if I can deoxit switch. It's great on my pedaltrain nano.
