An interesting blue/green/turquoise Rickenbacker 330/12 turned up locally. I have never seen one this color. Kinda cool.

Pretty awesome for sure!! You don't see many custom color Rickys. They usually will offer custom colors only once in a great while as a "Color of the Year". But they don't do it every year , especially recently. Very cool axe.

Acoustically plays great. It's at a shop and I didn't plug in. Tag says $1799 but not sure how firm they are on the price. It's from 2000. I think my hands would prefer a 660/12 however.

What's the diff betw the 330 and 660??? Yeah, what he ^ said? Cool color, I'm not a 12 string guy 'cause they just feel weird to me. Also I know nothing about the Rik models.

Yeah no real _need_ for a 12 string - just has always been one of the classic guitars I had on my "someday" list for my collection.
The 600 series is solid body, and the 660 has a wider neck. Mike Campbell's Ric on the cover of "damn the Torpedoes" with Petty holding it.
