I broke down and ordered a red therapy head from Brent at guitar riot. There's been too many good reviews on this amp to not try it. Not to mention, my wife says I need therapy from my splurge on amp buying. Little does she know, the therapy I'm getting from the Doc is not the same therapy she had in mind!! ?. I can't wait to try this beast with all my teles.

You'll only get out what you put in to the Therapy. In this case that is EXACTLY what you were hoping !! Congrats

Well I have to say, so far I'm digging my Tele more than any of my other guitars, but I do have a pretty awesome Tele. Also it sounds so great I'm having a hard time divorcing myself from it long enough to plug something else into the amp. Clean to mean the Tele just kills with this amp.

I have 5 different teles with several different pickups (mostly voodoo's) that I can't wait to plug into this monster. What speaker are you using with your therapy?

Little does she know, the therapy I'm getting from the Doc is not the same therapy she had in mind!! ?. It's all semantics. Toe may toes. Toe mah toes. The saying doesn't quite translate in print, but I trust you get my gist.

There's just something special about being able to order this amp and know that for the next week or so, it is being hand built here in America by people who take pride in the product they are putting out and not my some machine on an assembly line!! To me, that makes these amps even more special to play! I think I can speak for everyone on this forum that it is so awesome to be able to discuss these amps with the very man who puts his heart and soul into them! I'm sure the good doc is a very busy man but it means a lot that he takes time out of his busy schedule to answer our requests and questions!! There's a lot of great amps out there but there ain't nothing like a Z!!!!!!!

Why thank you, I do appreciate that. Your right hand built with love, craftsmanship, and pride, here in the good old USA.

Looks like my therapy is on the way. Brent from guitar riot emailed me today with the tracking info. In the words of Tom Petty, "The waiting is the hardest part"

Seeing my comments above - point of clarification: My Tele sounds amazing through this amp. And so does my Strat - holy moley!

So far I am loving it. I first tried it with a V30 1x12. It was pretty good but just wasn't for me. I changed the v30 out for a creamback and BAM....she came alive. I love how fat the therapy sounds with my tele. Of all the Z amps I've owned, I can control the volume the easiest with the therapy. The MV is very usable and to my ears, doesn't effect the tone. I love the way the therapy inhales my pedals as well. I AB'd the therapy with my M12 and as much as I love the m12, the therapy made it sound thin and not as punchy.

Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Proboards Figured I'd jump in....I've run the Therapy through all of my Z cabs. It sounds great through all of them. The gold was great for the tele twang and to sort of brighten humbucker equipped guitars. The V30 was more of the middle ground for everything, whereas the creamback (65) was more dark sounding, but still had punch and definition. The EQ on the amp pretty much allows one to get anything your heart desires. Up until the Therapy, I had my Maz Sr. NR which was sort of the "jack of all trades" amp for me. I regretted selling it at first, but now that the Therapy is here, I don't feel bad at all...save for my gear hoarding ego, lmao.

Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Proboards I did try the therapy with the gold and loved it. The main reason I decided to go with the creamback is because the brightness of my tele's. The creamback is a darker speaker and tends to add more punch on the higher strings. This amp is so versatile. We go back to the recording studio in January and I can't wait to put the therapy on our new album.

I just sold my M12 to fund my incoming Therapy..hard to do I hope I made the right choice.

The Gold sounds amazing, but I tend to like bright and big mids, and the Gold can deliver on both counts. Of course the Therapy doesn't really need a bright speaker - plenty of top end control there. I may try a V30 yet.
