When I engage the bypass pedal the volume jump is too loud. In our band (6 instruments) - it is too high. Is there a way how to tame it down a little ? Resistor ?

Try turning your tone knobs up higher. That will make the volume difference between bypassed and non-bypassed a little less. This is because the MAZ's tone controls (Cut excepted) subtract/attenuate gain in their ranges. Kicking on the EQ bypass is like turning all the tone knobs to max and adding a bit more gain, which results from taking the tone controls completely out of the circuit.
Another tip is to set up the bypass first, using Volume, Master and Cut. Then tweak the non-bypassed tone using BMT.
Let us know what you find.

Thanks a lot !
I already read your previous posts about it. It does work, but the amp gets noisier and sharper.
I tried to mess with the pedal. When I connect the terminals inside, that gives the Equed sound , and when disconnected, you get the bypassed sound, so putting a resistor in would infact make the difference even higher.
your option is the best I'll email Dr, to see if there is anything else, that can be done.
thanks

Someone posted a mod to the footswitch that added a volume pot. If you can locate that post, it might be another way to get what you want.

I believe that mod was in the Maz Jr section IIRC.

Thanks,
I found it and installed it. It works very well with the pot just past 1'clock it gives just enough boos for me.

I used mine tonight and turned all the tone knobs up and the volume jump was just right. By the clock, treble at 3, mid at 12, and bass and cut at 9. I'm using a Boss FS-5L with a Fender footswitch cable.
