Hello, all, My impression of the Remedy after about a year now is, of course, very positive overall, but I have observed in my own playing that it lends itself even better to humbuckers than to single coil pickups; that is it is impressive as hell with a Strat OR a Les Paul plugged in, but to my ears, it shines a little more with the humbuckers. So, my question, especially to strat players; can you recommend a preferred setting on the Remedy ( I have had the MV and EQ bypass mods done) that produces that classic "Strat" sound? Some examples of what I consider that sound: 1. Yellow Ledbetter (especially intro) - Pearl Jam 2. Riviera Paradise - SRV And, badassest of all, 3. Cold Shot - SRV How is the amp set? How is the guitar set? I have Lindy Fralin Blues Specials on a 50th anniversary strat. Any tips would be greatly appreciated !!!! Thanks!! Regards, DD

Coupla things: First...welcome to the forum! Second..thanks for posting the Cold Shot vid.....I hate to admit I've never seen that!
I try to get the Cold Shot tone by using the Strat neck or neck/middle combination with the tone knobs full on...volume set at 8 or so. You gotta have some kind of rotary emulation set fairly fast....a chorus pedal will do but a rotary sim pedal is even better. I usually have an OD on set low..or if you set the Remedy volumes high, roll off the GV some and don't use the OD pedal. In other words, give it a slight amt of grit so it's not squeaky clean....think old school Leslie.
I set my Rem tones like you have yours......and adjust slightly for the room. V1;10 V2; 9

For that clean, spanky Strat tone keep the Vs as low as possible, and the MV as high as possible - the cleans in this amp are the hidden gem IMHO

What's your speaker ? I have found the Celestions sound great for those sounds, but I probably wouldn't use them with humbuckers. The V30 or Creamback.
