Just thought I'd chime in with this info. I just retubed a customers 1979 MKII Master Lead 50W with these after converting it from the factory 6550 setup. I dont know about their longevity, but I will say they sounded really good, and I'm not really an EL-34 guy.
Just thought I'd share my experience. Great sounding Marshall by the way. Much better than any of the new stuff IMHO.

Which Mullard reissues?
Sovtek has one and so does GT. The GT version is the xf2 dual getter version while the Sovtek version is not the xf2 version.

I was talking about the Sovtek "Mullard" branded tube. I was kind of suprised because when I think of Sovtek tubes, tone is not the first word to come to mind. This one ain't bad.
As far as GT EL-34's, the M is nice, but my favorite is the E34LS. That just sounds bigger and meatier to me. And of course the 6CA7GE was just killer when it was being made.
Any timetable for the resurrection of that one?
