Just got an Airbrake on Reverb to try tame my EZG-50 a little bit (just a little, not too much). and I have a couple of questions.
First, what's the little hole next to the bedroom level knob? There's a silver/grey metal tab coming up through it and ending flush with the top of the casing. Is this some kind of knob you operate with pliers? Something else? It just seems like a bizarre design choice.
Second, the bedroom level knob is a bit gritty/tight. Is this normal?

It is the leg to the potentiometer. No, it isn't something you should mess with. It keeps the knob straight.

The knob feel sounds just like mine always has, from new.

Thank you bryan and Paul!
Looks like mine is as it should be. Now the real test happens this afternoon when I can turn up the amp and try this beastie out (It's only 10:45 on a Saturday morning here).
I'm chomping at the bit, as they say!
