Has anyone tried this combination? Is it even possible? Now that I am in love with my Therapy, I am thinking what to do with my Z28 so it doesn't just sit and gather dust My thinking is a small form factor combo and use it with pedals for our rehearsals (I retro fitted mine with a PS-MV, so it can get really quiet and doesn't need a BL). I suppose I could get a Z 1x10 convertible cab, but they are heavy, and I quite like using a 12". I know the Doc doesn't sell the cabs empty, but I guess I'd have to get a custom build.........

Good morning Pete!
Saw a while back on the Ghia board where Mather cabs was making a pine cab 1x12 to fit the Z chassis, custom order obviously.
With a neo speaker, the combo came in at just under 30 lbs if I remember correctly. And only an inch or so bigger than the Z 1x10 cab.
Not sure how much shipping to the UK would be as a cost adder, but just a thought.
Thanks, Gray aka Freddieg

The Z-28 chassis is too small for the Studio 1x12 cab as they are sized for the Maz, Stang Ray etc size chassis, so it would take a custom build like you suspect my friend.

I had my Ghia in a Mather 1x12 for a long while. With the chassis, Tone Tubby 12", and a brake lite, it was right around 35-36 lbs. I'm sure the 28 would fit right in there.

I have the Z28 in a 1x12 mather studio cab ... it is really light and sounds great was thinking of doing it to my Antidote but Mather said you have to go the Zwreck sized cab for that head I imagine that the Therapy chassis wouls require the same sized combo cab ... the Z28 is in my avatar.
